We are committed to reducing the incidence of fraud and abuse through a program that focuses on detection and prevention of fraudulent and abusive claim situations. We were at the forefront of the insurance industry when we established our Special Investigative Unit (SIU) in 1988. Then and now, the mission of the SIU is to detect, prevent, investigate, resolve and report (to the proper authorities) suspected fraudulent and abusive activities associated with group benefits claim submissions.
